Arunav Konwar

Arunav is a multi-disciplinary researcher who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, data, and art.
Prior to this, he has worked on researching novel machine learning techniques for robotics at INRIA, France, building AI-driven digital products at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany, and enabling interdisciplinary research through building digital systems at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Media Lab, USA.
He graduated from BITS Pilani in 2018 with dual degrees in engineering and sciences.
He is passionate about emerging technologies and understands their ability to affect and change societies for better and also for worse. He enjoys engaging in discussions on topics surrounding data and AI and regularly advocates for public discourse and deliberation before implementing such technologies at scale.
At IIC he is excited to work on building a strong and equitable AI ecosystem around public healthcare in India.
