The Young Leaders in Tech Policy Fellowship is an unparalleled opportunity for organizations to foster the next generation of tech policy thought leaders in India.
This fellowship will place young professionals with an engineering background in organizations that advance the research and discourse on technology policy in the country. These organisations will serve as 'hosts’ for the fellows for a period of two years.
Fellows work with hosts as full-time team members
Fellows will support the host organisation’s core research, implementation, and advocacy work. Fellows will leverage their eclectic experiences, technology skills, and backgrounds to bring a fresh perspective to research, policy briefs, analysis and recommendations, and other related outputs. At the same time, they will get an opportunity to develop proficiency in tech policy and transform into subject matter experts.
A unique partnership
The engagement is an opportunity for the hosts to generate broader awareness on the crucial work done by the organisations, especially among technologists, thereby building a talent pipeline for the future. Hosts will support the fellow(s) placed in their organization by providing a comprehensive work plan, a stimulating work environment, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
Fellowship Overview:
