Project Associate, Telangana Governance Project

Hari Nilesh holds a master’s degree in economics from the Symbiosis School of Economics, Pune. Prior to joining IIC, he worked as a Consultant at the Department of Urban Local Bodies, Govt. of Haryana, where he was involved in the Municipal Finance reforms. He also placed in Bhiwani district of Haryana for year as a Chief Minister’s Good Governance Associate, which involved working with the district administration on a range of developmental programs including increasing grade-level competence in school children, improving public service delivery, management of COVID-19 relief work, etc.

He has also previously worked in the states of Goa and Jharkhand for over year on implementing finance, process, and capacity-building reforms in Municipal Bodies in the two states. Through IIC, Hari wishes to engage with the rural and urban governance structures in depth and drive programs that are focused on outcomes.
