An enthusiast in governance affairs, Himanshu holds post-graduation in Public Policy, Design and Management from the Indian School of Public Policy, with the Dean's List Award. He has a keen sense of determination to improve the governance system. Prior to joining the IIC, he has interned to aid and assist the Union Health Ministry's COVID-19 efforts.

He has also worked with the Global Policy Insights, a centrist policy think-tank which actively engages and works to equip different levels of the government with domain knowledge, leading towards better policy decisions. Himanshu holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Ceramic Engineering from IIT (BHU) Varanasi.
