Ishani Agnihotri 

Project Associate, MeitY

Marking a strategic shift from her career in data analytics to policy planning and implementation, Ishani joins IIC as a Project Associate in MeitY. 

Originally a Mathematics graduate from Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi, Ishani began her career in data operations at ZS Associates. However, the quest for more impactful work led her to Civil Services Exam preparation. The process of qualifying for advanced and interview stages in her attempts enriched her with extensive knowledge. Meanwhile, the associated challenges facilitated profound personal growth marked by perseverance and discipline. This journey ultimately steered her towards a career in public policy and social impact.

Ishani holds a post graduate degree in Politics and International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University. In her latest professional engagement with Swaniti Global Initiative, she collaborated with Members of Parliament, global nonprofits and local institutions, working at the nexus of climate, policy and local governance. Prior to this, she contributed to research publications at the Indian Council of World Affairs, a premium think tank supported by the Ministry of External Affairs. Outside of work, Ishani enjoys exploring new places and is an avid reader.
