Karan Trichal

Project Associate, NDHM-UPTSU

Karan is an engineering graduate from IIT Bombay. Always keenly interested in humanities, he pivoted his career towards liberal arts through the Young India Fellowship at Ashoka University. The plethora of interdisciplinary courses he studied there changed his comfort zone from the absolutes of mathematical logic to the ambiguity of navigation of social structures. Working part-time with an education-focused NGO over a year while he was studying at Ashoka, demonstrated to him the power of data-driven strategic interventions on field work. After a year and a half of management consulting experience, during which he spent his time working with companies in the healthcare domain, Karan now finds himself at IIC, hoping to leverage past skills and experiences towards creating positive impact.

Karan joins the Lucknow-based UPTSU support team, working to digitise the healthcare infrastructure of Uttar Pradesh.
