Kishore Samanuri

Kishore has over 15 years of work experience juggling roles in corporate and government. He has worked as an equity analyst for UBS with the No.1 ranked UBS Asia Transport Research team, followed by Societe Generale Corporate Investment Banking covering the transport sector in Europe.

He stepped out of corporate investment banking in 2015 and joined a unique impact initiative led by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu to transform villages and urban local bodies (wards) in to "Smart Village Smart Ward" (SVSW). The Program was aligned with the objectives of UNSDGs with focus on strategies to catalyse community action to achieve the program outcomes. As a Chief Resource Mobilisation Officer, he developed strong partnerships with international development institutions, universities, corporates (public and private) and celebrities to partner with communities and lead the development agenda for the program. His team developed 28 model villages across the state showcasing innovative interventions in multiple areas. These model villages serve as centres for peer learning. The partners have won several prestigious awards for their contribution and initiatives.
