Krisstina Rao

Krisstina is passionate about social impact that hinges on participation and agency, and has explored this through her work in collective impact for inclusive education in Maharashtra where she co-led a consortium to lead diverse learners to mainstream public schools. Prior to this, she has supported the entry of participative investment in India with Impact Experience, explored start-up incubation and leadership development with Startup Leadership Program, and thrived as a volunteer teacher with Teach For India. Krisstina is a Social Innovation Management Fellow with the Amani Institute and has a background in sociology and psychology from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai-- both of which have helped her develop a perspective of innovation for social impact. At IIC, she has built capacity for AI in public health through policy and project interventions at the Ministry of Health before working on policy for responsible AI at the IT Ministry.
