Mohith Gowda
Project Associate, Karnataka Public Health Governance
Mohith is driven by a passion for social impact and a commitment to fostering positive change in communities. With a background in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Agricultural Sciences Bengaluru, Mohith brings a unique perspective to his role as a Project Associate in the health project for Karnataka under the National Health Mission. His journey in the development sector began with the Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship in Bagalkote, Karnataka, where he immersed himself in understanding the intricacies of the district's functioning and collaborated with stakeholders to identify key priorities. Through his training in design thinking and research methods at IIM-Banagalore, has honed his ability to tackle complex systemic challenges and develop sustainable solutions.
Building on his experience, Mohith has served as a Consultant at Grant Thornton Bharath LLP, managing the World Bank-funded SANKALP project at the Karnataka Skill Development Corporation. Here, he has worked in conceptualizing and implementing initiatives aimed at skill development and employment creation for youth. His expertise extends to education as well, having previously worked as a Fellow with Teach for India in Bengaluru, where he contributed to improving learning outcomes and holistic development for underprivileged students. Mohith's diverse experiences, coupled with his dedication to social change, make him a valuable asset to the team as he continues to drive impactful projects in the health sector for the betterment of communities in Karnataka.
