Purvika Gupta

Senior Project Associate, NITI Aayog

Purvika is a graduate in Mathematics from Lady Shri Ram College and has engaged with multiple social organisations in varied capacities. Prior to joining IIC, she was associated with TechnoServe, an international nonprofit that promotes business solutions to poverty. Being in a cross-functional role, she worked on tasks ranging from research, program & business development to designing strategies for organisational development.

She has also pursued the Young India Fellowship, which give her a chance to closely engage with people from diverse social, cultural & professional backgrounds. As a part of the fellowship, she worked with the School for Social Entrepreneurs India to design their communications & branding strategies. During her undergraduate years, she undertook a two-year volunteer experience with Connecting Dreams Foundation where she mentored entrepreneurial teams of 20 colleges to develop business solutions for empowering rural women and youth.

Through the IIC, she hopes to develop deeper insights on governance challenges & policy-making, and further widen her skillset for driving sustainable social impact.
