Tanya Saxena

Project Associate, MeitY

Tanya Saxena has a knack for blending law, policy, and public service, all while embracing her identity as a proud citizen of this country. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Law from the National Law Institute University, Bhopal. From testing the waters in litigation to navigating the realms of policy and legal advisory for the Government of Madhya Pradesh, she has learned some invaluable lessons from both the experiences. But amidst the chaos, one question lingered: how can we bridge the gap between decision-makers and those they serve? IIC’s idea of bringing young committed individuals into the system who are willing to put in efforts for an inclusive and compassionate society appealed to her.

When she's not glued to her laptop, you'll find Tanya exploring the streets, capturing people in their everyday life, or engaging in a game of badminton, dance workshops, reading Ghalib or just freelancing to keep her creative juices flowing. But beyond all of this, her heart beats for community service. And being true to her inner movie buff, Tanya lives by a simple yet profound mantra: “Haso, Jio, Muskurao, Kal ho na ho”
